Q: “How much is tuition for K-5?”
A: No one is turned away for financial reasons. Our mission is affordable tuition. Affordable means affordable. Every accepted student receives a scholarship. A family is then offered four different tuition options and the family chooses what is affordable for them. Monthly payment plans are available.
Q: “How do I apply for the 24-25 school year?”
A: We cap Pre-K at 20 students and K-5th classrooms at 15 students; no exceptions. Applications are first come, first served. No applications will be accepted after August 1, 2024. Meet the Teachers Night is Thursday, August 15 and the first day of school is Monday, August 19.
Q: “How old does my Pre-K student have to be?”
A St. Pat’s Pre-K student must be 4 years old by Sept. 1, 2024.
Q: “What is Pre-K tuition?
A: Full tuition is $24 daily; however, Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) offers needs-based financial assistance. All Pre-K families must complete the CCAP application as a requirement of their registration.
Q: “Does my student have to be Catholic?”
A: Absolutely not. We welcome all families and students who want a Christian education. We are a Catholic school and students learn about the Catholic worldview from Genesis to Revelations: God is Good, Jesus saves, and we were made to love and serve each other, especially those most in need.
Q: “Do children wear uniforms?”
A: Yes, all children wear uniforms every day. For $1 (all funds go to student activities), a student may participate in Spirit Wear Friday: wearing jeans and a shirt that is either St. Pat’s gear or a Christian message (i.e. a shirt from church or church camp, a scripture quote, something positive about Jesus etc.).
Q: “What is your student discipline policy?”
A: Respect, Responsibility, and Safety for the community are our priorities and poor student behaviors are not tolerated. As a Christian school, we serve the whole child with trauma-informed restorative justice that prioritizes student ownership of behavioral growth over time; student discipline is student ministry and an opportunity for faith education in action. Correct student behavior is taught in a Christian context of Jesus’ example.
Parent-Teacher Partnership is crucial; it might involve the family consulting a pediatrician or behavioral therapist. However, if a student maintains a habit of poor behavior, regardless of the reason, that student may be suspended or even unenrolled. This ensures that we keep the safe, calm, and peaceful learning community which parents have come to expect from St. Pat’s.
Q: “Do you provide transportation?”
A: No, we do not provide transportation.
